Hace mas de un año que ando preparando un apasionante viaje que comienza en menos de una semana a uno de los lugares que, al margen del hielo, me cautivaron cuando hice «la Vuelta al Mundo Submarina», mi primera aventura más o menos patrocinada y más o menos mediática hace ya años. Aquel viaje cambió mi vida, no sólo porque me llevó a descubrir la Antártida y a enamorarme del mundo polar, sino porque tras ese viaje mi vida no volvería a ser la misma en muchos aspectos. En unos días vuelvo a perderme en solitario en el confín de la tierra. Historia, tribus descubiertas hace no más de 100 años, islas perdidas, culturas ancestrales…y una palabra que me inquieta y atrae a la vez, no muy alentadora cuando uno viaja en solitario: Canibalismo. Tres imágenes valen más que mil palabras….Vuelvo al fascinante Pacífico Sur !!

For more than a year I have been preparing an exciting journey that begins in less than a week to one of the places that, apart of the ice, captivated me when I did «the Underwater trip around the World», my first adventure more or less sponsored and more or less mediatic, years ago. That trip changed my life, not only because it took me to discover Antarctica and fall in love with the polar world, but because after that trip my life would not be the same in many ways. In a few days I lose myself alone at the edge of the earth. History, tribes discovered no more than 100 years ago, lost islands, ancestral cultures … and a word that makes me uneasy me and attracts at the same time, not very encouraging when you travel alone: Cannibalism.
