In his first book, “The Two Faces of the Ice”, Paco Acedo presents a summary of his expeditions exploring and diving under the ice in the polar regions of the planet between 2010 and 2015. From Antarctica to his solo expedition to Lake Baikal in Siberia, passing through Svalbard, the White Sea and the remote lands of northern Greenland, where he lived with the last Eskimo hunters on the planet. Paco abandoned a quiet life as a teacher to dive where never before was done. With prologues by Pierre-Yves Cousteau, son of the legendary underwater explorer Jacques Cousteau, and Ramón Larramendi, the most outstanding Spanish polar explorer.
